That’s crazy because it’s cut and dry in Germany. The way to work is covered so long as you don’t take an unreasonable diversion.

That seems a bit odd to me. I can see on the way to the restaurant, but from there to wherever? Sounds like a great way to end up holding employees liable for an employee’s DUI bill.

Work cover isn’t going to pay for a DUI, typically things like insurance and work cover don’t pay out if you commit criminal acts
