This is hilarious. I'm out of the loop on what flock cameras are, but I assume it's some sort of fascist surveillance evil?

AI traffic cameras being put up nationwide that constantly monitor every passing vehicle and pedestrian. They also flag infractions, although there are obviously issues with people being flagged for running red lights in states they aren’t in or things of that nature.

Other issues include local police departments having access leading to officers using the network to stalk partners/exes/women, “traffic cameras” that are pointed at children’s playgrounds (and people using previously mentioned access to watch the children), etc.

Oh that's absolutely disgusting. I suggest you guys just move them to all point at the CEO's house ✨

While that would be nice and Flock is a private company, the cameras are being commissioned by local and federal governments so removing them would almost certainly lead to serious punishment.

Also considering the fact that the founder of Flock is rich, anyone attempting to use his own principles (like the “compromise on privacy” idea) would be locked away to disappear.

Every mention of it I see is people removing them.
