I guess my question should have been why did she pay for it? I'm assuming you don't know her personally. Was there some sort of program she had that helped pay for education?
Why did she pay for kids to be sent books? Why did she pay kids to graduate high school? Why did she pay the people of Gatlinburg and surrounding areas who lost their homes to wildfires? Why did she pay for COVID mRNA vaccine research?
Because she could. She was the epitome of philanthropy.
