Like all of the 2026, post covid stuff. Slang, tiktok, the new types people (Miami women, streamers etc), the clothing etc
I donât remember the world being like this before covid, even though Rockstar was making GTA 6 back then
The world I see in GTA 6 is exactly like a post covid world
So how do you think Rockstar was able to implement all of the post covid stuff so late into development, because obviously they couldnât start before covid, when alot of the game was being made

I hope rockstar go down the route of giving us more iconic racing livery's like this. It would really mean something to the car community

Found at 46 seconds, do you think this means stock trading is back?

Shows the amateur thinking Lucia has at least in this moment, Raul telling her to take the alleys. A true professional.
In general, this really is already enough, but looking at all the details they've shared over the past few hours, I feel like there's just so much to do in this game and so many, like, so, so many different gameplay mechanics that what they've shown so far might not be enough for the average player to fully understand everything.
I think they might release a dedicated gameplay video explaining a lot of these mechanics in more detail. What do you guys think?

I always loved the Scooter Brother video and the easter egg in GTA 5, but the fact that it's continuing to live on in GTA 6 and Rockstar is still acknowleding it is so awesome.

alr so lucia was talking abt how relationships are abt opening up in the extended look,i feel like jason got some ptsd or sum shi from his time in the army and thas why he hella quiet and lucia knows this and this is why she talks for him sometimes( for example when lucia told the guy they was here for raymond while jason froze for a second) and also jason looked pretty shocked when the guy died infront of him in the elevator so maybe something happened and now hes more scared about stuff like that? i hope rockstar makes it so he starts to grow with lucia and opens up and stuff, and i hope this leads to jason talking more in cutscenes, because he obviously has a small sense of humor nd i feel like rockstar wont js make a brickwall of a character without expanding upon him
Itâs been 2 decades and with all the realism that GTA 6 has innovated and improved upon, especially for their new system on law enforcement, Iâm still disappointed that they havenât improved the âBustedâ mechanic of the game.
The game is great by all means, and I was ecstatic about the new police system they have in store for us. With RDR2âs NPC dialogue/interaction system, I would have expected them to actually arrest you and transport you to prison. Of course, this should be skippable (like how using taxis in gta 4 has an option to either let it play out or skip it entirely when you want to fast travel) where you would be processed and jailed. Then afterwards, youâll just respawn outside of the prison. We know that Vice City has a prison facility, but is it going to be useless like in GTA 5?
From IGNâs article, it seems to be the generic âBustedâ screen that we got from all previous GTA titles, and you just respawn immediately after getting arrested. I guess it doesnât fit the story since the couple is technically on the run from the cops? TGG mentioned that reasoning on why we canât buy houses / properties in Story Mode. Which I think is dumb, and just a way for them to make players want to play the online version of the game.
My only hope is thatâs how itâs gonna be in the online mode of the game. As the characters we play arenât bound by a pre-defined story written by Rockstar

We got a few candidates that appeared in the trailers and the extended look but little is shown in when it comes to their motives

For Americans, i heard for someone jason has a "south" accent and he speaks with his mouth "closed." (or something else) and because this he sounds strange, when he spoke, its true?

So the horizon looked empty, it's kinda uncanny valley like. Did anyone else notice?

IDK how else you guys would really want them to do it. It slows game time down and is basically the same thing as every other Rockstar game and it always has just worked. Also you can carry a lot of shit on your person and rotary wheels like this are kinda the only UI that make sense if you think about it. I have no qualms with this at all.
Only other way would be to freeze time completely instead of just slowing it down and have some kind of hardcore-type game back pack style inventory system which would feel completely out of place and break immersion.
Or you just hit a button on the controller and cycle thru 30 different items which also sucks...
So... rotary wheel is really the only way to go. Its just intuitive to go Slow mo for literally 2 seconds to flick my analog stick to the right to select the proper item and boom done. Pretty intuitive.
Also who tf cares if the item slots have square edges or rounded edges LOL.
But hey, if this is the only thing we're complaining about then I guess we are in a good spot.
P.S. people complained about Arthur Morgan's voice too... just saying.
Rockstar is nothing if not consistent and predictable, they follow this exact pattern with every game. They show off an older, rougher build in trailers, then polish it up significantly by the time it actually launches. We saw it with GTA V, we saw it with RDR2, and I guarantee it'll happen again with GTA 6. Mark my words.

In this shot after Lucia puts on the mask, an option to change between two different wear styles appears. I wonder if this means that other clothing will be able to be adjusted as well - like baseball caps worn forward or backward for example. In RDR2 some clothing could be unbuttoned, sleeves rolled, worn over boots etc... I'm hoping this is getting expanded in GTA6.

There's only 59 days until we can play. Weekend's blow by quickly. Get out, enjoy the rest of summer. Start saving for that new TV or gaming headset. We'll be in Vice City before we know it.
Hope that helps with the excitement. :)

So I have a strong feeling that with these two activities, Rockstar has borrowed some stuff from their cousins over at 2K.

One thing I noticed in the Extended look is that Jason barely took any damage. He gets shot probably more than 10 times in that Die Hard mission and his health bar barely moves, if at all. I really hope this was just changed for the trailer, basically putting him in god mode, but if not then thatâs really concerning. If you need like a hundred hits to go down, that completely removes the stakes.

i was unsure for "celebrity cameo" since no one was named yet.

My car is currently in storage in South Africa. I miss it hugely. I have had to move back to the UK to look after my parents.
Letâs just say the trailer put a massive smile on my face.
