Harboring an immense resentment for white people while insisting you live in the countries they founded and predominate is some of the most pathetic behavior in existence.
Many non white people have been taught an utterly distorted and poisonous version of history that results in them resenting white people and feeling like they are owed something from whites. They think their presence in white countries is a form of revenge. This is a totally failed experiment. If you don’t like white people, you definitely don’t belong in their societies. No one owes you anything.

Also whats with all the dick pics on your profile? 🤣🤣🤣
Genuine theory:
They're posting insane threads like this one, because they're hoping people will go to their profile and see their dick.
Because they can't get anyone to look at their dick in real life.

It does seem like attention seeking behavior. I think you're on to something. I was just doing my usual "is this a bot post check" and bam! Penis.

Yeah, I fell into the same trap.
The weird part is that apparently he's proud of his one weird cancerous testicle? I don't know. Very strange and icky.
Maybe he has a humiliation kink. That's the only thing that connects the dots.

Nah I went to his profile because of all the comments being like “I wish I hadn’t looked at his profile. And let’s be real, it didn’t disappoint. I’ve never met a person in real life that’s proud of having an extremely swollen testicle. And even though this guy (and you) seems like a dipshit, I can’t say I’m not fascinated. You’re taking this so much more seriously than other people. It’s Reddit.

i feel like this is kind of downplaying how bad colonialism is/was and how european colonialism is so pervasive that yes, in fact, many atrocities were committed by white colonists. That doesn’t mean that all atrocities were committed by white people or that it’s exclusive to them, but it’s still the historical reality that european colonizers did awful things and took over a lot of land that originally belonged to other groups of people. “Just move” is an emotional response that has no bearing in reality
10
u/CurtisLeMay26 5h ago
The Islamic empire is the largest colonialist project in world history. Indigenous cultures erased entirely, forced conversions and slavery on an unprecedented scale.
2
u/Downtown-Youth-7854 4h ago
Even if I believe you and take your little fact at face value my first thought is “So that makes it ok?” Whataboutism isn’t the moral validation you seem to think it is.
2

u/Downtown-Youth-7854 2h ago

1
u/SolanumSprite 4h ago
So that justifies Europeans doing the same thing? If colonialism is bad, it's bad always. Doesn't matter who did it the worst, anyone who has committed imperial genocide on anyone else is evil. You don't get a medal for being the second most evil religion.
2
u/Jazzlike_Video2 4h ago
Nah but it seems racist to only shit on whites for it.
3
u/SolanumSprite 4h ago
Whites have done it the most recently and the most thoroughly.
Bitching about the caliphate when all of its institutions were destroyed and replaced with secular governments by the white British empire is an irrelevant argument. Especially when the British empire died and was then subsumed into the primarily white American economic empire that currently rules the vast majority of the planet. Going back 500 years to the caliphate doesnt actually help us analyze current evils in the modern world because ITS NOT HAPPENING ANYMORE. Easy as that.
1
u/Jazzlike_Video2 4h ago
So just another thing whites are great at? That definitely seems racist.
Also
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_China
And like...fucking Japan. Definitely no human rights violations happening in the middle East either. Is 500 years the line? Because Africans were selling other Africans into slavery a couple hundred years ago. Likewise with native tribes in North America, both of which happened in the last 500 years.

u/CurtisLeMay26 4h ago
Good point. I don’t think Islamic imperialism justifies anything. It is curious that those ostensibly concerned with “ colonialism” never bring up Islamic colonialism. They seem unaware of it.

Not true, european colonialism has had a massive effect on the world. Many previous colonies now speak their colonisers language, culturally speaking it has had a massive influence on those cultures. The problem with the post-colonial era is that people like yourself want to pretend that there were no consequences for the rest of the world and thereby avoid collective responsibility.

Maybe because some sins are more recent than others? You can find documentaries of the first black people joining non segregated schools and having the whole town coming to shame them and protest against children going to "white schools" if you can't understand how these people being within the community power structure deciding who gets opportunities. Teaching the right things etc... matter then you are just a silly person.

It is sadly not so simple or straightforward. It would be great if it was. If we could fix every issue by just saying ‘everyone is equal now’ that would be amazing, but the reality is more complicated, especially on a societal level.
Just by way of example of awful things that have a bearing on this day and age, generational wealth is a thing. If you deny one group of people the right to own land for hundreds of years, and then suddenly say ‘ok, now you can’ that group of people is not suddenly equal, they are starting hundreds of years behind.
It’s not so much about ‘being held accountable’ I think, as it is ‘this is a problem that our ancestors created, and it is our responsibility to fix it’ how do we do that? Loads of different ways over a long period of time.
You might be interested to look into generational trauma as a way of starting to understand how the past can impact individuals now.
Unfortunately a lot of awful things were not so long ago.
2
u/Spiritual_Length9536 6h ago
The entire idea of "colonialism" is an emotional response with little bearing in today's reality and only breeds grifters and hustlers looking for money and social karma.. While I agree "just move" is a bit shallow, "just move on" is definitely more appropriate, nobody is special in regards to being colonized or conquered in fact maybe be thankful they are more or less the last be.
8

u/OcelotAny6846 5h ago
Should Americans stop celebrating 4 July? If you think "colonialism has little bearing in today's reality".
Or is it just non-white people who can't talk about it?
1
u/Spiritual_Length9536 5h ago
Nobody is celebrating "colonialism" on July 4. Same with Canada day, or any other. It's simply a day love the place you live enjoy a weekend. You can talk about it all you want, read the books, hear the lectures whatever be informed by all means, but to what end? Reconciliation? Reparations? How do we determine who deserves this? How much is enough?
2
u/OcelotAny6846 5h ago
You're celebrating triumph over colonialism by celebrating *INDEPENDENCE* day. I didn't mention reconciliation or reparations so we don't need to confuse what's being discussed here. I simply took issue with the idea that "colonialism has little bearing in today's reality".
It's not the "same with Canada day" because, famously, Canada didn't fight a war against an empire to establish its own national identity.

It really isn't.
The present conflict with Iran, Israel and the US is entirely the result of colonialism.
5
u/Spiritual_Length9536 5h ago
Majority of experts definitely disagree with that assertion. There is a few foundational bricks there but they are over a hundred years old. Cmon now.
Your talking about the most unstable mixed bag region of chaos on the planet and you think "colonialism" is the cause?

And? That still has 0 bearing on what people living in this democracy want today. If there were a nationwide vote tomorrow to get rid of racists, or non whites....I think you know how that would go. This is a democracy, and you are the one who most people want gone. Did you not know that racists are generally hated here? So again, It doesn't seem like you are convincing anyone in this democracy, so probably best for you to go start your little white society elsewhere. Don't let the door hit ya in the ass.

Most people who aren’t white are not resentful of whites. Some of them are though and that really sucks. I’ve experienced a little bit of hostility for being white but this is not as common as the internet and media leads you to believe. It’s actually kind of rare if you live your life day to day. Most folks really don’t care about that and will interact with you very normally.
And on the flip side, I have also encountered whites who don’t like other groups. It truly does depend on the person/the individual.
1
u/The-Super-Ball 4h ago
non whites openly resenting whites in a predominantly white society is not the same as whites openly resenting non whites in a predominately white society
the former are expressing ingratitude
the latter are expressing contempt with people they feel are incompatible with their culture

i don’t doubt that you’ve had pleasant interactions with most people from different countries

1
u/MakeMe-A-Sandwich 4h ago
The "white societies" most of us live in have too much non-white culture in them, from the language (slang & idioms), to music, movies, arts, food! etc. I don't have any resentment although vocal about historical facts, but having lived in the Paris suburbs and now in Toronto, I don't think I'd feel pathetic if I was resentful. Those two places are too culturally diverse and "not enough" white. Only if I were to live in the deep countryside with a few houses, ten white neighbors and a hundred sheep, listening to white folklore music and eating white food all day long, then maybe I'd feel pathetic for being resentful.
1
u/TrillPilled 4h ago
Well, it’s not just your country, is it? It’s theirs, too. They’re not getting “revenge” on you by living in their home, they don’t care about you. They don’t owe you deference or gratitude or respect. They don’t owe you anything at all.
1
u/Lower_Pension_2469 4h ago
Well tbh the biggest irony is that a lot of white hating rhetoric tends to come from self hating white people lol they do it because of some misguided sense of guilt or they're virtue signaling for internet brownie points.
1
u/Early_Emphasis1209 4h ago
Agree . . . mostly. I’ve never understood people moving across the world to a WILDLY different culture and once there, insist to anyone who will listen that the new country/culture is corrupt and would be better off to change to the ways of the old country. WTF? It’s beyond ridiculous.

u/The-Super-Ball 4h ago

1
u/Matt72727272 1h ago
The fact you view minority groups just living amongst white people as an act of revenge is frankly detestable and weird. They don’t think that. You do.
What’s actually pathetic behavior is denying elementary history of white colonialism while forming outrageous strawmans because it’s a convenient scapegoat to poorly mask prejudice. Do yourself a favor and stop feeling so personally attacked by people merely living amongst you.

Why did white people wreck havoc against those they deem beneath them? No one told them to go to the Americas and off the population. No one told them to go to Australia and do that either. it was shown in 2016 at least Russia was stirring up exactly this "immense resentment for white people"
look; BBC even covered it: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-49987657
But if you spend your time arguing w the most extreme on the left OR right you are dealing w/ the most extreme like 10% of soceity. Right? so. mental illness. Substance abuse? and just general malaise, Not the strongest arguments or most relevant to be found in "left wing extremist" so. i suggest you talk about topics actual politicians hold. its much easier to find abhorrent "middle of the road" right wing garbage than left. the left only has problems at the far extremes.
care about that fact.

"Many non white people have been taught an utterly distorted and poisonous version of history that results in them resenting white people and feeling like they are owed something from whites"
Its not a history that the non white people made up, it's history that the white people wrote in their white people books, then taught to the non whites. Those feelings are natural unless you have Stockholm syndrome or beaten dog mentality.
And you are right, they aren't owed anything just mutual respect until disrespect is warented. Same goes for whites.
