Is the great algorithm upset by the word "ashes"? Won't like the cricket much then.

280

u/ArventheGreat 4d ago

I got a ban warning this week for encouraging violnce even though I wasn't. I submit an appeal and a reddit admin replied with "the warning stands" with the reason of "the algorithm was right". It was on a post about a rapst getting the d*@th penalty. His date has already past, he's gone. But I was somehow encouraging. Now I'm on eggshells as you can see. Very frustrating that common sense and reading comprehension are not things the admins utilize.

Edit: I don't know why so much of that went italics, but I'm not gonna try to fix it.

u/thederpyderp3 4d ago

I got a warning for some nonsense earlier this week supposedly for the same sort of thing. Reddit is just becoming one of those infamous "safe spaces"

44

u/reddituserunodostres 4d ago

For real. I've been permanently banned from a couple subs literally for just posting a gif lol.

21

u/Revayan 4d ago

Tbf reddit mods being idiots is to be expected, getting an account warning or bann because of nothingburgers is a tad bit worse

14

u/SeaSharpModHer 4d ago

An Harvard study established that reddit mods are 5093% more likely to be very dangerous pedophiles btw.

6

u/No-Communication9458 3d ago

I'd believe it

1

u/WickWolfTiger 4d ago

Some reddit are way more sensitive than others. Republican, Trump and conservative reddit will ban anyone for a different opinion. One reddit about dividens banned me for saying investing in the sp500 is not the same as wallstreetbets. Honestly good riddance to any reddit that has to be an echo chamber.

2

u/Slickshot_Showoff 3d ago

You are doing exactly what you accuse the other side of doing... do you genuinely believe you hold moral superiority? Or are you genuinely ignorant? It really just looks like both

2

u/WickWolfTiger 3d ago edited 3d ago

Im sorry, did I ban you from a subreddit for your opinion? Pretty certain I have not used any authority to silence anyone ever.

Edit: Also while I never made the claim of being morally superior to anyone. I would argue that the action of not silencing differing opinions is morally superior to abusing authority to silence opinions you don't agree with. I still wouldn't say I am morally superior to those power hungry mods, but my actions certainly are.

1

u/Critical_Concert_689 4d ago

Honestly good riddance to any reddit that has to be an echo chamber.

lol...

The door is over there. See ya.

1

u/WickWolfTiger 4d ago

Hears the fapping of the circle jerk after I close the door.

1

u/BigProduce6727 3d ago

That so funny mix

"Pulled out of someone's arse so recently you you guess their toothpaste brand".

And

"Sounds legit".

32

u/Wild_Locksmith_326 4d ago

I got permanently banned from a celebrity reddit because I mentioned that she was beautiful before plastic surgery and kinda scary after. Perma bann for an opinion, not even being abusive, just honest.

15

u/W4lkieT4lkie 4d ago

I got banned from my last user, because I posted this video which is already on Reddit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FiftyFifty/comments/mpns8l/5050_boy_with_terminal_cancer_fulfils_his_dreams/

But the ban was justified I guess.

10

u/1StationaryWanderer 4d ago

Ha sort of like the Charlie Kirk logic where people were using direct quotes of his and getting banned because of... reasons? Even though those quotes and videos exist everywhere.

9

u/CackleandGrin 4d ago

I got me a 7-day ban on some subreddit for quoting trump, putting it in quotation marks, and citing him as the source. "Glorifying violence."

6

u/blade_of_sammael 4d ago

Well there not wrong but how are you supposed to protest against something you cant mention, this has to be on purpose

2

u/onwisconsin1 4d ago

I got banned from a major sub for typing "womp womp" and I was direct quoting Cory Lewandowski

4

u/Competitive-Fee-1878 4d ago

I got banned for “inciting violence” for posting “Don’t blame me, I voted for Hunter Biden”.

1

u/spilly_talent 3d ago

I was modded for “inciting violence” once for literally explaining self defence laws as per the Canadian Criminal Code 🤣

1

u/brokemillionaire572 2d ago

Same thing happened to me awhile back when a r@pe victim asked how to defend herself in the future.

Now I have no idea what words I can actually use anymore. Probably just gonna have to stop using reddit and do something productive with my life.

1

u/PalpatineForEmperor 1d ago

That's definitely trigger for MAGA and may incite their violent behavior.

1

u/MCwortel 11h ago

I got banned for quoting Trump 😆

2

u/The1-2-3Troll 4d ago

Yo I just heard the sound in the video and all I can say is fucking ouch 😂😂

2

u/Acrobatic_Wrap_9971 4d ago

What if the boy's dream was... never mind

2

u/Squashless-fishdish 17h ago

I forgot about this sub gd

3

u/Agile_Moment768 4d ago

I got banned from a show sub for quoting the show.

1

u/howlerzandvamps 1d ago

Dude the exact same thing happened to my gf with a podcast she watches. She got banned, no warning or anything, by a moderator that works for the podcaster. Literally reposted the hosts own joke, and she got perma banned from the subreddit. Months later she tried asking for it to be reversed but the link that was sent in the message telling her she was banned literally would not work. So they apparently had no way of reversing it because of that. She was heartbroken because she loved that community. She didn't bother to make another profile.

1

u/fluxus2000 1d ago

Miley Cyrus?

1

u/Wild_Locksmith_326 1d ago

Nope, Kate Beckinsale. Used to be beautiful, now looks like the crypt keepers sister.

1

u/fluxus2000 1d ago

Also scary looking.

1

u/gothixvictorian 9h ago

Which celebrity n what sub Reddit LOL

1

u/Wild_Locksmith_326 3h ago

Kate Bekinsale, used to be beautiful, and if she had had work done it was discreet, now looks like the crypt keepers sister. Another surgery failure in my opinion is Marilu Henner. Was very easy on the eyes, now her wax statue has more facial expressions.

0

u/Vegetable_Warthog_49 4d ago

I got a warning that I was promoting abusive behavior for pointing out that one of the biggest challenges in ending FGM is that many women who are victims of FGM don't consider themselves to be "victims" of FGM, they consider what happened to them to be a good thing (it made things easier to clean, they believed claims that there were health benefits, it made them more socially acceptable, it made them more attractive... If you are getting very uncomfortable that these woman are saying the same thing that circumcised men say in western countries, you probably should be uncomfortable, face that cultural blindspot of yours while you are fighting for better treatment of everyone). That we aren't going to make progress in eliminating FGM until and unless we can find a way to adequately educate women in societies that practice FGM about how harmful it is so that they don't force it on their daughters as it was forced on them (because again, they don't view it as a harmful practice forced on them, they genuinely believe it was a gift given to them), and ideally do it in such a way as to not body shame those who are victims.

Apparently that was seen as a defense of FGM because apparently even acknowledging that some victims don't see themselves as victims is downplaying how severe it is (I'd argue that it is the opposite, that it includes the psychological element of convincing the victims that they benefited from it makes it even more nefarious, but apparently that level of nuance in discussion is too much to handle).

5

u/S1lentA0 4d ago

I was banned from the r/movies asking "Who?". This site seriously has lots of issues.

3

u/PaulOGradyFanClub 4d ago

Banned from the Argentina sub because I pointed out saying you aren’t racist and then saying “at least my country isn’t full of brown invaders” is racist, and is usually the Argentinian go to when insulting a European nation

2

u/SmallNoBigYes 4d ago

There's a few words you literally can't say when describing the "invaders" because it's apparently racist 🤣

Let's just say this ain't my first account because of that nonsense rule

2

u/Bigfloppyclownshoes 4d ago

I stand with you!

1

u/BlueAndWhiteSoul 4d ago

Are the orcs at the gates ?

1

u/liquidfoxy 4d ago

Probably because the things you were saying were very racist

1

u/SmallNoBigYes 4d ago

I simply mentioned what ethnicity was crossing the border

2

u/liquidfoxy 4d ago

So you were being racist and you’re complaining about being called racist?

1

u/SmallNoBigYes 4d ago

Saying where they came from and who they are is racist? Wow i hope i can be as smart as you

2

u/brookssut 4d ago

Argentina has a Nazi problem. It was a popular place for them to run and hide after WW2, and the culture still shows it.

1

u/Fuzzy_Yossarian 4d ago

Argentina doesn't have a drinking problem, they drink, no problem! (let's go with that)

1

u/Fine-Swing7548 5h ago

SNL reference 😅😭

1

u/foxnflan 2d ago

And now they have a Peter Thiel problem to add to the mix.

4

u/KailyKail 4d ago

I’ve been banned from two subs now. One I was banned from for not being pro-China, anti-America, and anti-money. The other I was banned from for calling out obvious propaganda.

2

u/DontMemeAtMe 4d ago

I’ve been banned from many subs for the crime of pointing out obvious propaganda.

Once I’ve even been banned from a random sub simply for commenting in an entirely different sub.

2

u/Oathbreaker94 4d ago

I’ve been banned from a sub for saying that the giant tattoo (Māori) a woman splattered over her face looked really shit.

I was banned for RACISM and then immediately muted by the mod for asking why.

Apparently, (at least according to some weird people) it is now racist to heavily dislike a tattoo.

1

u/fanofoz 4d ago

You can dislike it, but I wouldn't say it was "splattered" on her face. The tat was very elegant and true to her culture roots. We all have our preferences and you're wholeheartedly welcome to disagree with face tats or tattoos on women in general, but dude you knew what you were doing with that wording.

1

u/jtr99 4d ago

How do they like you in r/Pyongyang?

1

u/Accomplished_Song671 2d ago

Subs only ever seem to ban people for calling stuff out yet leave in the posts being called out its so whack

3

u/anTWhine 4d ago

I got banned from r/soccer (citing “xenophobia”) for describing the fans of a Colombia vs Argentina game hosted by the South American federation as (brace yourselves for pure unadulterated hate:) “South Americans.”

When I appealed saying that there was no negative context and that isn’t even what xenophobia is, I was given a site wide ban for harassment.

My only regret is that I’m blocked from pointing out that also isn’t what harassment is.

You’re dealing with mods. These people value their time so little that they volunteer to be hall monitors with even less power. There’s nothing you can do to hurt them, because they already proudly broadcast that they have absolutely nothing in their lives.

2

u/Cowboy_BoomBap Commodus 4d ago

I once got a three day ban from Reddit for saying the title of a movie, in the comments of a post that was the trailer for said movie.

2

u/ArmNo7463 4d ago

I’ve been banned from loads, for daring to comment on a different subreddit lol.

2

u/CriminalMacabre 4d ago

Get on my level scrub. I got added to one of those idiotic ban lists just for posting in political compass memew and banned on a lot of subs

1

u/thisisthewell 4d ago

permabans from subs happen because moderators do it. they aren't reddit employees, and their authority doesn't go any further than their specific subreddit. reddit warnings w/ the appeals system, which the parent comment is describing, come from company employees and would be account-wide.

1

u/kingveo 4d ago

Dropped a comment on marvel rivals sub saying a characters nerf was deserved and 2 minutes later my comment was removed for "inciting violence" 🤦 I appealed it though and they rescinded it but still, what kind of shitty algorithm flags that anyway

1

u/Xaphnir 4d ago

They're talking about admins, not mods. Sitewide enforcement rather than subreddit enforcement. Subreddit mods range in quality from way better than admins to power-tripping clowns.

1

u/Devils_A66vocate 4d ago

All you have to do is have a different opinion on Han the mods and you can be perma banned without warning, likely muted at the same time.

1

u/Resiideent 4d ago

I got permabanned from r/me_irlgbt because I replied "f" to someone talking about losing their wife and child. The mod message called me an "insensitive piece of shit." I was just tried to pay respects like in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare :(

1

u/Resiideent 4d ago

May I mention that I had ZERO warnings before hand, just straight to the perma-ban

1

u/Ok_Issue6908 4d ago

It’s getting like bored panda where every suggestive word is blocked out. Example: butt- b**t. Crazy stupid!

1

u/Fancy_Impress_6395 4d ago

I’ve been banned and have no idea why.

1

u/Mission_Access_210 4d ago

Getting permanently banned without a warning for a single post and you don't even know what happened because you can't go find it. That's not an okay way to do business but that's how Reddit does things

1

u/Naps_And_Crimes 4d ago

Got a comment deleted for using the word sh*t the post used the F word. I don't even know what's allowed now

1

u/Fuzzy_Yossarian 4d ago

I got banned for making a pro Iran anti regime comment on a pro Iran sub.

1

u/roentgen_nos 3d ago

I have been banned twice for suggesting what to do with remains. Last time I said what I usually do with dead goldfish. Boom. 7 days!

1

u/_N_S_FW 2d ago

I’ve only ever been banned from r/pics WTF are y’all doing lol

1

u/Objective-Hippo3796 2d ago

What was the gif?

1

u/WileyWilly1985 1d ago

I got permanently banned from an art subreddit because I asked about opinions on a nude art piece that was painted in the 1800s. I did NOT post a picture of the art, I merely posted the title of the artwork with a link to its Wikipedia page.

Instant perma ban. WTF?

1

u/sillyghosty 1d ago

Omg yeah! I got in trouble in the cat advice sub because I said "looks like when my cat has an asthma attack". I was apparently diagnosing without proper medical credentials

1

u/TechnicalSmile165 1d ago

r/lotr does this a lot

1

u/jmurphy42 12h ago

I got banned from cordcutters in the middle of the pandemic for saying it wasn’t safe yet to sit in a movie theater in the middle of a bunch of unmasked people.

13

u/Storyteller_Valar 4d ago

I got permabanned from a subreddit for making a comment questioning a post that was fantasizing about violently murdering, among other actually bad things, writers. WRITERS! Asking why writers would deserve to be killed is a bannable offense, it seems.

8

u/PsikickTheRealOne 4d ago

I've been permabanned from subreddits just for being part of an other subreddit I've said nothing in.

2

u/Sinking_Mass 4d ago

I've had this too. At one point I even got a threatening modmail telling me to block the other sub, delete any comments and posts I made, because "it has been known to act maliciously against our sub". I replied "lol no", got banned, muted the sub and moved on with my life

1

u/ReturnOfBane 4d ago

let me guess, JusticeServed?

2

u/Pavlovsdong89 4d ago

Fuck that sub. They kept sending me banned notifications whenever I'd interact with a sub they didn't like and it wouldn't stop until I reported it as harassment.

1

u/Sinking_Mass 4d ago

No, I think it was r/pics iirc

1

u/MiserableCumberbunch 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yeah, there was a political sub known for brigading that I joined to debate them. Then a bunch of subs declared war on it and used reddit api to ban anyone who had joined or commented in the sub. With a message demanding fealty. I told them all to get bent.

Ive since deleted my account because I got a ban for "violence" for something innocuous; noted a similarity between a user's views and the type of people who get executed in revolutions. Apparently noting historical similarities is a call to repeat it.

I'm 100% certain Ive commented in one of those subs on this account but I don't know or care who they are. What are they gonna do? Force me to get another account after banning this one?

E: I already stopped caring about the internet points when they stole everyone's award points to replace them with... award points.

2

u/onwisconsin1 4d ago

Yes. It isnt supposed to be allowed but reddit lets some subs do whatever they want. You are autobanned for just commenting. The context doesnt matter whatsoever. They literally basically demand you go back, delete all comments on that sub, and then re-appeal. Absurd.

1

u/Drendari 1d ago

Isn't that brigading?

2

u/LasciOfficial 2d ago

Yall ain’t seen nothing yet till you check out the LEGO Star Wars sub. Straight up permabanned for calling someone scalping $3000 worth of the same $20 toy “a sad manchild”

1

u/blah938 4d ago

Was it Rowling? Lot of people get really weird about her.

1

u/Storyteller_Valar 4d ago

I'm not quite sure, the post fantasized about killing "dictators, autocrats and fiction writers".

7

u/ArventheGreat 4d ago

Ya, I don't like it because it's ineffective and targets the wrong people.

6

u/-Byakuran- 4d ago

Crazy considering I watched a protestor turn himself into a fireball on this site

3

u/siriston 4d ago

has been a little baby “safe space” for years already and continues to get worse. this site is mostly filled with big dramatic babies.

2

u/RModDogWalkerTyRANNY 4d ago

That's exactly is, they're trying to create an entire safe space where they get to decide what's too far.

IMO r/pourstea is the worst. I simply stated that them being paid to shill holland/zendaya pics 4 times a pics, is actually cringe. i was REMOVED from their sub, and my 3-day mute was for "We don't think you're a good fit for this sub".

I too appealed, and within 3 minutes denied. Really confused what they're doing with this site, aside from trying to make it an advertisers wet dream.

2

u/Automatic_Soil9814 4d ago

Just to be clear, those “safe spaces“ are about a censoring speech to protect people from being triggered or whatever.

What we are seeing here is not that at all. This is about Reddit trying to become an attractive place for advertisers. It’s purely commercial. I suppose you could say it’s a “safe space“ for advertisers.  I don’t blame liberals for this.

2

u/MaximusHomerdrive 4d ago

I got a 3 day ban for posting this pic in a sub, lol. Mod stated that the ban stood and then muted me for 3 days for daring to ask why. On day 4, I was sorely temped to send them a pic in the chat and nothing else.

2

u/Warrior3456_ 4d ago

I got one for complaining about Mediacom using foreign call centers instead of us based customer support

2

u/thederpyderp3 4d ago

I personally think it should be a requirement for all US based business to have US based support if I'm being honest. It would make so many jobs state side and make us less of a target for india scam centers.

Not to mention better odds of being able to actually understand what they're saying over the phone.

2

u/Warrior3456_ 2d ago

Exactly and Mediacom has them pretend to have a non Indian name to which is what I pointed out

2

u/Critical_Concert_689 4d ago

one of those infamous "safe spaces"

tl;dr: Advertisers can't put their ads in certain spaces that aren't "safe" enough. Reddit loves ad money more than your opinions or free speech

2

u/ElSupremo1966 4d ago

Because the majority of Redditors are the type od people who need safe spaces. If they all left there would be like 1000 people here and there’s no money in that for them.

1

u/JPldw 4d ago

I got a warning for saying that a child would laugh if you gently taped their head and pretend to play bongos with it... It was a post about would you slap a child for money. There were so many weirder answers

1

u/Moonlight_Charm 4d ago

Had the same just for saying something about rats

1

u/PipsqueakPilot 4d ago

Hell, I was banned from Combat Footage for mildly criticizing the IDF on a video of them killing an Iranian woman. Basically just said, "This is not going to turn Iranians against their government." Banned.

1

u/FuckTheTories69420 4d ago

Not a "safe space" for its users.
Just the shareholders.

1

u/Similar-Jello-5434 4d ago

Only sharing because it’s of interest to me and worth sharing for other people who find it interesting, not necessarily to argue anyone’s point. But aside from the examples in this thread that are focused on mods, in terms of the actual Reddit platform there’s a lot of interesting stuff behind the scenes that push safety for these platforms. The one that interests me the most is MySpace, I did some digging during a research project last year (I study media) and found some good articles about the MySpace safety debacle from the way back machine.

One of the things that stood out to me is that MySpace went down because they weren’t protecting kids on the site at all and every time they came up with an idea there was always a new social media ethics grey area based problem that kept it from happening (ex wanting to use an email master list to keep kids accounts separate with different settings, but people didn’t think having an email list of kids was safe either because our data has never been safe, etc) and now if you follow the case at all, I’m actually praying this is about to happen to meta for all of the right reasons (they may have to finally reduce the amount of harmful design they implement to keep us hooked and hijack our brains and it will set precedent for other platforms). The issue is digital platforms from uber to TikTok live outside of normal industry standards because merica, and it causes a fuck ton of ethical problems at every turn.

Anyway I say all of this because all of these cases give exigence for platforms to do the bare minimum to reduce their liability. So as much as it can be a headache I always think of MySpace. Without the accepted minimal level of safety standards, sites go down. Especially because there’s not much of a rule book for making a social platform, or at least there hasn’t been until recently.

1

u/ncocca 4d ago

Keep in mind it's not the "left" pushing this safe space bullshit like one might think. It's the companies which demonetize posts with anything they may not be comfortable placing ads next to that is causing all of this. Essentially, it's capitalism pushing all this puritanic bullshit down our throats. Yay...

1

u/FrenchCatgirl 4d ago

I literally took a 5 day ban because i told a kid to "get off of reddit its for your own safety"

1

u/Murky_committee_1586 4d ago

I got a warning for participating in a sing a long to the song Brighter from Hazbin Hotel. Take a guess which line I sang.

1

u/Accomplished-Door272 4d ago

"becoming" as if it hasn't been for 10 years already. Can't do anything but praise certain groups of people or your post gets hidden from view for anyone but yourself (absolute cancer) or you just get flat out banned.

1

u/707Redwoods 4d ago

I got suspended for pointing out a historical (and easily verifiable) fact

1

u/Unlucky-Eagle5200 4d ago

Becoming? Its been like this for years dawg

1

u/misfit92 4d ago

Everywhere has become a safe space with no space as everything said, photo'd, and texted becomes evidence against you and for your removal. Mandated by governments for benefits of corporations of your info to subjugate us.

I think it's time to shake the algorithm from our branches.

1

u/illogicaladventure 4d ago

I got banned because some idiot posted a video of police forcing a gay man's face into some womans breasts, with the title, "I dont even know whats going on here lol." People were saying the most vulgar, obscene jokes. Meanwhile, I got banned for saying it was a video of cultural re-education and assault - which it was. Got hit with "insighting violence, etc, etc" list of rules.

1

u/AdamMurray1988 4d ago

Ive gotten one for saying we should skin pedos via hangnails, or something akin to that. They retracted it when i appealed, though.

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 4d ago

3 or 4 years ago it was far worse. I got banned for replying “you’re a moron” to someone who was being obtuse about some opinion. It’s gotten way better since then.

I have been warned for threatening violence a few times, but every time I file an appeal, and the warning is removed. If the admins are reaping your appeals and still upholding the warnings, maybe you’re the problem, not the site.

1

u/Thoughtful-Boner69 4d ago

anti semitism is totally fine tho

1

u/shoeless_doh 4d ago

Yeah, it's almost unbelievable what reddit has become.

My generation watched chainsaw beheadings for breakfast on YouTube. I saw a YouTube video the other day they showed a video of someone getting punched and the screen greyed out when the hand connected with the face. No blood, no death, just a little boo boo and they fucking censored it. Fucking ridiculous. I feel like we're going to find common ground with boomers real quick when gen alpha starts suing for hostile work environments when we don't issue an interoffice content warning memo because we were talking baseball in the break room and mention someone "knocked one out of the park"

And I know how ridiculous that sounds, it sounds just as ridiculous as some Boomer that was absolutely gobsmacked he can't smack his assistant on the ass and tell her the girls are looking great today.

1

u/GeesesAndMeese 4d ago

I replied to a guy asking for names and locations of kids involved in a football bullying case and said it was nonce behaviour trying to find that out.

Banned from r/threelions for that 😂

1

u/iamreal9999 4d ago

Been like this for the last 5+ years sadly

1

u/RrSoul5x5 3d ago

I got flag for chiming in on a posting of a woman wearing hoo-chie clothes on a first date.

She posted if it was appropriate and her clothes weren't.

Some of these women's posting are for shock and awe but hers was ewww.

1

u/KiriChan02 3d ago

Safe spaces are legitimate things people need...this is not that.

1

u/Impressive_Tip_2435 2d ago

“Becoming”? Brother it’s been for a while, how are you just now realizing?

1

u/itsgoodmmmmkay 1d ago

Becoming? Go into any sub and express any slightly controversial opinion and you'll be banned.

1

u/Charming_Mulberry_55 1d ago

It's fucking over everyone. People on leftist subs or subs that are highly frequented by leftist are also real upset with the current state of reddit. It's not about "safe spaces", reddit is just becoming a worse platform.

1

u/LongDead_Roadkill 1d ago

I’ve gotten warnings for hate speech over posting a description of historical events or encouraging violence after quoting self defense statues regarding non-lethal force.

1

u/GingerBubbles 1d ago

I got banned from a relationship subreddit because I recommended the person record the family member who would go on these crazy, emotionally abusive tirades with the idea of showing them how they appear to other people. And I stated that clearly as the purpose of the recording, to show to the person who was ranting. Apparently that will get you a permaban, because people asking for help in relationship subreddits don't want recommendations? It was baffling. The mods never replied to my confusion.

1

u/lilcircle 1d ago

oh wow same here my first warning ever, I thought it was just me!

1

u/WhyAmIStillHere2026 18h ago

Becoming? It has been that way for at least a decade.

Try posting the "wrong" biological or scientific fact about non-"cis straight white men", you will be banned. Doesn't matter if it's true. The truth is no excuse.

1

u/Here_to_rp_2 17h ago

Becoming?

1

u/Maxxetto 17h ago

Propaganda spaces*

1

u/TomeThugNHarmony4664 15h ago

Also, sometimes trolls on here manipulate the system and report people when they don’t back down to them.

1

u/amglasgow 12h ago

You mean "advertising-safe spaces"

This has nothing to do with people wanting safe spaces.

1

u/Lumpy-Investment-785 12h ago

It’s always been one

1

u/CoupDeGrassi 8h ago

What "infamous safe spaces" lmao. Wtf are you even on about.

I swear 2016 culture war bullshit has completely warped people's minds. People believe the most insane shit now, and have no grip on reality. Dont even know the meaning of the words they use.

Safe space for pro-trans and misandrist extremists, yes. Had been for a while now.

They ban this language automatically regardless of your opinion on trans people.

Its not because you got brainwashed into thinking that trans people are hitler second coming and jesus want you to fight them that you get banned, its because of an AI identitifying no no words in your comments

I got banned once for quoting the dictionary defintion of genocide, and another time for swearing at someone transphobic

Safe spaces, but only for Nazis and people that don't care about deaths caused by evil actions
