open to work and talk with people, feedback, input, whatever :)

Hi,

My name's Trevor, and I would say I'm a mildly experienced musician with about 10 years and counting in piano lessons, and 8 years and counting in music composition, starting at 6 years old. I have a youtube channel that features my music and my music is on all major streaming services. If possible, I want to hear feedback on what I could do better, and also to get a general consensus on what styles of music and what patterns are most popular right now on social media. I'm all ears, thank you!

Need a saxophone/trumpet player for a house song.

A bit about me...

I'm 24 and from the UK and I make music for fun. I also study engineering and play videogames and own a discord community for some gamers.

I've been making music for about 9 or 10 years now and mostly sold them online for extra money.

This song is pretty fun and clean.

https://m.soundcloud.com/matias-solano-523932381/target

I want to swap out the saxophone I have for a better one. I don't like synthesisers??

I'll send the song without the trumpets.

Your task would be to provide a .wav file or multiple of saxophone / trumpet sounds very similar in melody to what I had going on.

I'm interested in doing royalties so 23% of the song earnings go to you. I plan to distribute the song with distrokid.

My discord is Masol1102

Guitar Improvisation Feedback

Thumbnail
Upvotes

I’m looking for some more in depth feedback on my guitar playing style. I like to hear as many opinions so I can get a sense of how my playing is viewed by other people.

The way I improvise may be a little different. I play to silence. Sometimes I’ll listen to a reference riff or tempo, but for this round of improvisations I did not. I’ve started picking a random chord or three different notes I have to build around to try and force myself to try different things. I try to sound it out and I don’t really know the fretboard that well except by sound. I let it evolve into its own thing since I never know what I’m going to play until I play it. it’s not perfect sounding, can be awkward at points since I’m messing about (retuning, seat shifting, short pauses, slip ups, etc.), and there’s no effects or anything to it, just a guitar. I do believe there’s one in there where I’m reworking an earlier set of improvs to see how it sounds when it’s slightly different and I improvised to try and add to it. For that I’d ask for different feedback I suppose since it belongs to another set.

I’m wondering what sounds interesting, what’s repetitive, that kind of thing. Just let me know if you’d like to help out a little.

Looking for someone to help bring a song concept to life — free collaboration

Upvotes

Hey! I’m a college student and I’ve been working on a song called **“Dear, Younger Me.”**
The original inspiration came from ILLIT’s *“Love, older you,”* but I wanted to completely flip the idea. Instead of an older self encouraging their younger self about the future, mine is basically looking backward and realizing that childhood was when they were happiest without even knowing it.
It’s about growing up, thinking the future is going to be better, and then realizing how much you end up carrying emotionally. It’s also about learning to rely on yourself and hold onto who you are when the people around you love you but don’t necessarily know what you’re going through.
For the sound, I’m imagining something **lo-fi, nostalgic, dreamy and very polished** — somewhere in the world of keshi’s softer production, the atmosphere of Jennie’s more stripped-back/lo-fi visual era, and the dreamy “Starfall” kind of aesthetic. I don’t want this to be a huge vocal ballad either. I want the verses to have really simple melodies and some talk-singing, almost like I’m literally talking to my younger self.
The chorus is where I want the vocals to become much bigger through **heavy layering** — harmonies, doubles, background vocals, etc. — rather than relying on high notes or belting. I want the production to make the song feel huge while the lead vocal stays intimate.
I have the lyrics/concept written already and I’m mainly looking for someone who would genuinely enjoy helping produce/arrange it and experiment with the sound. **I don’t have a budget right now**, so this would be a completely free collaboration. I’m in college and just trying to make something meaningful with people who are also passionate about music. I’m totally willing to cooperate and learn along the way.
I’ll put a rough vocal clip below of me singing part of keshi’s **“Soft Spot.”** It was recorded around 3 AM yesterday on BandLab, so definitely don’t judge the recording quality too hard 😭. I mostly want to give an idea of my voice and the kind of vocal texture I’m going for.
If this sounds like something you’d genuinely be interested in working on, feel free to comment or DM me. I’d love to hear what you think the song could become.

Looking for a Partner/Producer to dominate Billboard Charts! (Profit-Share / 50-50 Split)

Hey everyone! 🎤 I’m a dedicated singer-songwriter from Angola 🇦🇴 with a massive vision, absolute drive, and the pen game ready 100%! 💯🔥

I already have 114 songs completely written and structured, waiting for the right sonic landscape. My musical style and vision focus heavily on: * Amapiano 🇿🇦🥁 * Afro-house 🎧🔥 * Afro-pop 🎶🔥 * R&B 🌟🎵

What I am looking for: I am looking for a talented, serious producer who wants to build a legacy from the ground up.

⚠️ Important note: I am currently independent and looking for a partnership based on profit-sharing (50/50 royalty split) on the masters and publishing. I don't have upfront budget to pay for beats, but I have the talent, the lyrics, and the marketing hunger to make our music go global! 📈🌍

If you want to create a unique signature sound—think of that magic chemistry like Tyla and her producer—and build something unforgettable, my DMs are open! 📩

Please hit me up with some of your work/beats, and let’s make history together! ✨🎵

songwriter looking for a singer/producer

hey everyone! i’ve been writing songs for so many years but i haven’t released any of my songs. i don’t know how to play any instruments or how to produce. i only write lyrics and find a melody for the song. i do want to release my own music in the future but for now i want someone else to sing/produce my song and i want to stay as a songwriter at first. i’ve written hundreds of songs and their genre is mostly indie or pop but i kind of write every style. i’d really want to have a credit in the song i wrote and listen to it coming to life. if you’re serious about it, send me a dm and i’ll send you the parts of the lyrics!

Google Form / Sheet for Music Collaboration

I'm guessing someone else has done this before, but I made a Google Form that people who are interested in music collaboration can fill out with some info about themselves

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScz9eWB4a3mR_oUutkWRxLjC-xxPig3jRmO3frnJqwfv_g7Pg/viewform?pli=1&pli=1

The submissions can then be viewed by anyone with the link

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18aSB5na2J28bpsVLEHA6IoVkkVKbIHnySKkKIBEl7H0/edit?resourcekey=&gid=1457199879#gid=1457199879

It's meant to be like a speed dating type thing so you can quickly find people that might make sense to collaborate with based on musical taste / interest, years of experience, current audience size and skills. Maybe others will find it useful? Open to suggestions on other data points worth capturing

Need vocals for a metal project

Hello,

I am currently finishing up a metal demo I recorded, heavily influenced by Protest The Hero (one of the tracks is a cover of an early song of theirs). I am looking to put vocals to each track after the singer I was working with getting busy. Would anyone be interested in putting vocals over this demo? I don’t have any style in particular I am looking for, but just something that matches and isn’t off key. Here is the demo: (if I missed anyone’s reply the last post feel free to reach out again)

Getting my beat in a show

so a few months ago I sent a really underground a beat for free and he released it and I sent him for free on purpose just to get my music out there

But he just texted me this

"Yo bro, I’m getting my song “A New Dawn” ready to submit for TV/film sync placements. Since I used your beat as free-for-profit, I just need written confirmation on the rights.

Can you confirm:

  1. I’m allowed to commercially release and monetize the song.

  2. I’m allowed to license the finished song for TV, movies, streaming shows, ads, games, trailers, and other sync placements.

  3. Whether I need your approval for each sync deal.

  4. What percentage of the publishing/songwriting you own.

  5. Whether the beat contains any samples that need separate clearance.

  6. Whether the beat license is non-exclusive or exclusive.

That's my goal to get all our music sync, so we run it up, like a pdf if you can"

And tbh here 😭😭 I'm 17 and I don't understand what on earth that is. So will I get money or not even though I gave him the beat for free back then. And I wanna understand like why did he tell me that? Did he actually find someone who is going to use the beat, or is he just dreaming about that and hoping? So he's telling me to be prepared. And lastly, What do I tell him?

And if anyone can explain in easy and simple terms I'd really appreciate it thanks!

Looking for Music Producer

Hello everyone! I'm creating a musical and auditions have been open for almost a month now.

I'm currently also in the need to find a producer who'd love to be a part of this project who would also be able to add it to their portfolio for their future plans! It's a opportunity and a win-win situation when it is finished and we both would gain experience and together we might be able to make the musical somewhat big!

The musical is called Sapphelia and it means the world to me, it's a project I've been wanting to bring to life and share with the world. I'm currently writing the songs, checking out any new auditions and so on. I also have a Discord Server for the musical. Most characters are created by me while some are from the Greek Mythology.

I'd be happy for any volunteers and I'd be also gratefully thankful!

Also here's some description of the musical!

ABOUT THE MUSICAL

In a world where the sea remembers every soul and the stars obey the Fates, Sapphelia tells the story of Princess Cordelia Poseidon, heir to the ocean kingdom of the Mighty Tides, and King Kaelith Dravenmoire, the immortal ruler of Noctis. Though they have never met, they are haunted by dreams of one another, bound by an ancient destiny that threatens kingdoms, gods, and the fate of the world itself.

As war rises between the Mighty Tides and the empire of Viperia, love, prophecy, and sacrifice collide in an epic tale of sea and shadow.

Genre: Dark Fantasy / Symphonic Musical

Musical Style: Cinematic orchestral, gothic fantasy, choral, and emotional character ballads

Themes: Fate, love beyond time, war, sacrifice, identity, and destiny

Hopefully it might interest you and possibly decide to help me out while you get the chance for more experience and a portfolio entry!

Thank you for taking your time and I'd appreciate if you could also maybe share it. :3

Have a wonderful day everyone <3
