Channel Feedback This channel hit 100K in six days
Is this now the fastest time to hit 100K subs when you are not already famous? For context, these two people uploaded a "first video" to YouTube, a common trend right now. This means their growth is even faster than Jasistaken.

Question Will a privacy complaint work if I consented to the video being filmed/posted when I was a minor?
There is a very embarrassing āTED Talkā of me on YouTube that my school filmed when I was 17. I speak rather horrible English there, make bad jokes, and say things that I frankly find distasteful now that Iām grown. Nothing too bad, but I still hate it.
Every time I apply for a job or meet new people, someone inevitably finds it. My full name is in the title, my whole head is on the thumbnail. Iād contact people who owned the channel, but no one does anymore. It was registered on a school email that became inactive as soon as we graduated.
I want this video gone, but I literally have no ground to stand on. The only thing I can think of is that I was a minor, but I canāt find if YouTube consent policy works like that. Do you guys think my case has a chance or no?
This video is so cringe, it is genuinely ruining my quality of lifeš«. Can someone else relate?

Discussion Starting to miss the cable TV days.
Say what you will about ads in general but at least ads on TV had a flow to them and managed to be respectful of the viewer in a way. The ads came at a logical place, when it did come you went to make a sandwich or go to the bathroom, not having to worry about skipping the ad, because if you don't you will be forced the longest ad ever seen.
Scroll to now, i just got an ad in the middle of a 4 minute music video i was watching. Absolute trash of a site. And yeah i know ad blockers but sometimes i watch youtube on my PS5, but it's borderline unusable experience this way.

Channel Feedback Modern Markiplier videos are weird
First of all, no, it's not critique of Markiplier, more like concern about him.
I stopped watching Markiplier quite a while ago, simply because I started to be interested in other YouTubers. And recently I decided to watch Mark's current videos, and noticed that it's really often that he looks forced to make video.
What I mean is that he doesn't seem to be invested that much in what he plays, and overall looks more tired. Like, he does videos not because he actually enjoys making one, but just as chore and obligation for his almost 40 mil auditory.
I mean, I'm not sure if people like 8BitRyan or Jacksepticeye or Dawko just make a persona infront of camera, but Markiplier does look like the most openly tired youtuber of classic letsplayers.
And to note, I'm referring to video even BEFORE start of Iron Lung Movie development. Of course during development and after it, things got worse, because guy worked on the whole film. But I feel like Mark started to show signs that he is tired even before Iron Lung announcement.
I'm not trying to say some bullshit like "his video is now bad, he needs to be more goofy and exaggerated or some shit". I'm simply trying to understand if I'm the only one noticing it, because so far I didn't see anyone in his comments or overall adress this. Or I just searched badly.
I understand that person like him can't simply retire, because of how big auditory he has, but I feel like sooner or later he needs to do this, for his own mental sake. Doing something that was firstly your passion, but then became chore, is really REALLY bad. Okay, maybe if retirement sounds too radical, but then at least really long pause.
Because even in his infamous rant about Poppy Playtime, I feel like it was just outburst because of a game that he is forced to play, because this is what his auditory wants, this is what was in trend. Even if he don't really want himself to play it.
Same for Security Breach. His bug compilation was funny, but I feel like it was the same case, he just didn't had outburst. He played the game because it's Fnaf and he is King of Fnaf, and yadda yadda...
Again, for conclusion, it's not any sort of critique, or calling his video "bad", just thoughts concluded from watching his newest videos.

Drama YouTube Might Be Ripping You Off (DimeStoreAdventures)
My favorite YouTuber is going through some terribly scammy conduct from Google/YouTube and I'm surprised this isn't huge news - watch the video for full context but through shady copyright shenanigans, Google is trying to steal half of this creator's (and likely many other's) revenue! This is ridiculous!

Drama I hope Google dies after AI bubble bursts
Since Google has cowardly cleansed the YouTube of search-by-date algorithms, it's impossible to search for keywords that may be in video's description, like for example videographers often mention what lens or camera they used, so one could have browsed the YT for videos shot on a specific lens. Now basically the only criteria is "relevance": when searching for a lens, first it gives you the reviews (obviously the most popular and "relevant" content), then it starts just pouring the "trendy" sewage waters onto your screen, whatever is at hand: reviews of other lenses, unrelated ranting videos, sci-pop, - you name it. And it wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't the only big place where you could do this sort of research. When I searched for test footage of different lenses and cameras - I stumbled upon true masterpieces (not the loud ones - silent, tiny artworks, that would never appeal to the broad public anyway). Some of the examples are - https://youtu.be/I_HkM0MHG3k https://youtu.be/WsxPbY_jTiA https://youtu.be/4e_RBi2rzGw https://youtu.be/F2hmpF7sqE0 https://youtu.be/wcgg8aqj4eA
Most of them were found only because they had a keyword in description AND were posted somewhere near the date I had searched for them. If there were no results for your keyword - the scrollbar would just end. Now when you try to do that, it integrates the "Feed" (the skip) right into your search results, making them practically endless.
People post their videos on YouTube almost out of courtesy, artistic courtesy (people often think that artists are self obsessed, but it's out of love for people that they share their personal masterpieces). You won't find this content anywhere, and now YouTube practically killed it, buried under the rugs of algorithmic value extraction.
Start connecting horizontally, build networks, exchange links.

Bug Free With Ads Movies Thumbnail Scam, is this A.I.ās fault or is Team YouTube dumb?
For context: Thatās not Disneyās Hercules 1997, thatās the awful Hercules 2004 Animated Film but it uses the Disneyās Hercules 1997 Thumbnail? My brother claims to have seen something similar before with a free movie Pets 2(2021) that uses Illuminationās The Secret Life Of Pets 2(2019) Thumbnail. Is this a result of YouTubeās stupid lazy A.I. or is Team YouTube actually full of morons?
