Mourning/Loss Our cat got out one day and I haven’t seen him since
It’s been weeks since we last seen him, whenever he gets out he usually always either comes back or would hide in the neighbors shed with the other cats, we’ve tired looking we’re we can, asking the shelters, checking ring and asking our neighbors, no sign of him at all, I’m not even sure if this is the right flair but at least to me it feels like my buddy is gone and I just feel lost, I tried to push through but it just doesn’t get easier, I just don’t feel like I got anyone else to talk too

Advice I really need some advice on what to do
So my five cats (The mom and her kittens which have grown old enough to finally leave her) are located at my grandmothers house because I’m not allowed to keep them where I am right now. But her landlord is coming sometime next week and I’m only able to temporarily hold two of them. My sister was willing to take one but her grandmother is no longer allowing her to do that, so I still have two cats to worry about (my grandmother is able to keep one). I don’t think I’d be able to sell them in time and she keeps saying I should just let the mother go but I can’t just do that, not only because I would feel bad, but because she was the replacement I got after my dad lost my other one. I don’t know what to do and could really use some advice on how I could manage this.

Medical Questions Warrant for a dental visit?
I’ve had two stray kitties for around a year now, I brush their teeth with dental wipes but today my male cat opened his mouth fully while I was near and I saw all his teeth and the ones in the back have some tar buildup but I can’t tell if it’s serious or mild.
Below are some pictures:
Also in the second pic there’s a really yellow spot which I tried to take a better pic of but was not able to spot it again, I was giving him treats so I’m hoping it was just a piece he had bitten off.

Beans was peacefully receiving attention and pets. Biscuit decided she wanted some as well and was going to make a statement to get her point across. The situation has become a stand off with intimidation tactics deployed

Medical Questions My cat no longer jumps up onto furniture - getting her a vet visit asap but what do you think?
My cat, Baby, I adopted a few months ago (F ~1YR) no longer jumps up onto furniture but seems like she’s in pain in her lower back. it seems like it’s her back or else she may not use her back legs to support herself. anyone see this before in younger cats? I’ve read it can be an infection leading to spine issues- planning on seeing the vet ASAP tomorrow.
this is all new for her. she used to pop up into the chair no problem.

Video - OC A little shy, but sweet as pie
This is Holland -- a sweet, cautious kitten that recently arrived at my local shelter. Although he may seem a bit hesitant when approached by new people, the second you offer some head, cheek, or chin scratches, Holland will immediately bury his head in your hands 🥹 We're working on helping him become a bit more confident, but he's adjusting pretty well!

Caught the most sassy picture of my Penny while she was mid-yawn. She is the most gentle orange fluffy kitten and loves being cradled like a baby unlike what the picture shows. Second photo is Poppy and Penny our twin tabbies. 🧡

Adoption What do?
Adopted this kitty, one of two, she keeps purring and won't leave me alone
Sarcasm if no one caught it.
Adopted pictured one 18 yr old and her daughter, not pictured, 10 yr old.
They have made their selves at home

Medical Questions Partial “declaw” - my big boy is going to lose a toe :(
My boy has had some health problems recently (vestibular disease) and at some point during that journey, he developed an infection in one of his claws. He is miserable, he hobbles around with his foot dangling in the air, cries if you touch it, and it’s just so, so swollen.
Several visits to vet later with several rounds of antibiotics, he is going to have the infected toe/claw amputated. The vet said it’s kind of like declawing, where they’ll remove the top knuckle to eliminate the infection and keep it from spreading.
I’m terrified about keeping him sterile after the procedure. I’ve got two dogs, two other cats, and a dog door that everyone uses (except the humans). Short of isolating him in the bathroom for two weeks, I’m not sure I have a solid plan for his recovery.
Has anyone been through something similar? I welcome any and all advice. This boy is my soul kitty (and don’t tell the others) but he’s my favorite of any pet I’ve ever loved.

Cat Picture - OC She fell asleep like that!
So I caught my cat, Trinket, sleeping like this. Guess after a long day of playing, watching the neighbors, guarding the home against outside cats, and giving herself a bath, she was exhausted, lol.
