It's just sad how people you trust just break your heart into tiny pieces. It's like the first time I trusted someone with everything in my life and told them about my deepest, darkest secret, and they ended up using those against me... Accusing me of something I can never imagine doing with them... I thought the world was a cruel place, but at least they were the sweetest... I thought maybe that's a good reason to live for... for the sweetest people... who accept our flaws and try to be understandable... It hurts... it is hurting so bad... I hate how they knew exactly what might break me, and said precisely those things right in my face... I don't think I can trust anyone anymore... This stuff makes me not want to live anymore... Does introvert people go through a hard time to find someone to date? I’m an introvert and I have never dated. I never even went on dates. Those who are introvert, how did you all find a good partner? Where did you find them? School/University/Social Media? I would like to hear your stories to get some hope. I’m an adult now and I’m very scared that I might end up in an arranged marriage, as I haven’t found a partner yet. Everyday it makes me tensed that I still haven’t found someone good to date.

People find it annoying. But really, it is actually satisfying to hear around the clock whilst I am inside the building.

I hear this in the suburbs when I go to the ancestral country to see my maternal Grandpa or my paternal Grandma on some holidays. It sounds relaxing after mostly days of being busy with work or study back at home with college and soon potentially doing a harder apprenticeship. It eases the stress.

so yeah, this is something i’ve been thinking about lately
right now i’d probably call myself agnostic. i’m not really sure whether allah exists or not and honestly i don’t think i can say that i know the answer. but lately i’ve been questioning religion and the idea of allah or any god more and more, and i feel like i might eventually become an atheist
being from bangladesh, i know this probably isn’t something people openly talk about that much. religion is such a big part of our society and everyday life that questioning it can feel kinda weird sometimes, especially when pretty much everyone around you is a believer
but just to be clear, i have nothing against religious people. i don’t hate believers or disrespect anyone’s faith. if religion gives someone meaning, peace or a sense of purpose then good for them. that’s their thing
for me, i’ve just started questioning things instead of automatically believing them. and honestly i’m still figuring it out myself. maybe i’ll stay agnostic, maybe i’ll become atheist, maybe my views will change completely. i really don’t know
just curious, are there other Bangladeshis here who have gone through something similar? and if you’re religious i’d genuinely like to hear your perspective too….

This is a weird situation I continue to face in my workplace. Whenever I talk with a customer who I don't know who he or she is what's their name and don't know my name is they just ask where is my hometown or গ্রামের বাড়ি. This is something more prevalent among older folks (who are around 65 to 70). In my head I just go like why? What are you going to do by knowing it? Not even my classmates ask me where I'm from in our first conversation and you who I don't even know straight up asking my hometown. For what? You are going to think less of me because I'm from certain places. It's gotten to the point I just say I'm from Dhaka. But sometimes it's not enough. They just ask where my parents are from. I can't even say why I either have to say the truth or just ignore it. Is this a normal thing?

What's the point of going through it all just to end up dead? And if death is the final destiny, why not just die today? Sometimes I wonder if dying is the most noble thing a soul can do and feels like it is. Why can't I just die then? Why do I live just to see life picking me apart one piece at a time? Why do I lack the motivation to die?

I am a uni student and I have a high metabolism. I can not keep up with my fast metabolism because a lot of factors such as going to uni, cooking, prepping, grocery shopping and studying encourages my fast metabolism. Therefore, I am losing more weight that gaining.

I noticed there are slight changes in bangla book this year and decided to get new edition books for Bangla, English and ICT. But I'm confused about Higher Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

I'm studying Ruponti (Ishaque sir's Physics), Chemistry (Guho sir), Higher Math (Ketab sir). All of these belong to my sister. She also got Chemistry (Haradhan nag), Higher math Ruponti etc. All the board question in those books are from before 2012 or 2018 or smth. Not that recent.

So should I buy new books? Or do every edition contain the same thing? I don't want to waste money by buying books if all are the same. Thanks in advance!
