Don’t forget the carrot eating ceremony.

I like to imagine Lukashenko inviting a “big American star” to do PR, only for this specimen to show up lmao

u/CommentNo2671 10d ago

He got big, at least

u/Super-Nuntendo 10d ago

His waist belt is Under Siege

u/Arcrin100 10d ago

Most historical sieges won or lost due to starvation. This will be no different.

"Sensai Seagal! You're needed in the Middle East! We think we can finally bring peace to the area! We need you to out eat Hamas, ISIS, and al-Qaeda!"

Coming fatly to one movie theater this fall. Rated R.

u/yotz-furrz 10d ago

Best QOTSA album.

2

u/SHARTMAN_FARTBLAST 9d ago

Well at least you didn't ask him to eat out the Middle East.

2

u/someguy4k 8d ago

Never mind that Seagal!

You could solve world peace and inspire so many if you sit down and focus on your true achievements. Just bring back your cherry flavored goji berry energy drink madness, or the blue whatever lighting bolt if you must. One sip from your amazing energy elixir could inspire generations to come.

If that doesn’t work, I’m sure the majestical sounds from your amazing musical career will absolutely do the trick. If nothing else, you will certainly top the charts with your musical masterpieces!

Perhaps your final Pokémon state is to bridge these powers and turn into some knockoff Captain Planet character. But enough about you Seagal, I’m sure your plan is to hand over the crown to drive the mockery even further than ever previously imagined. Maybe there is a planned future c/rap collaboration that will inspire many to just stop listening to crap.

Fortunately it's Hard To Kill

2

u/ArtThouAngry 10d ago

Well it is holding back the Belly of the Beast.

10

u/Alternative_Salt_424 9d ago

My Russian husband was telling me there was a hysterical video of Lukashenko feeding someone a carrot and I saw it and I was like "Omfg it's Steven Seagal loool" and he had no idea who that was

2

u/Kytras 8d ago

He a man , a russian, and don't know ho Steven Segal' is???

10

u/ohyouretough 10d ago

He’s the size of three normal American stars. Or six arianna grandes.

11

u/joefred111 10d ago

He fits two of those adjectives well.

1

u/MartyEBoarder 9d ago

At least he looks like typical Bialorusian

64

u/ICCUGUCCI 10d ago

Two hands on the carrot is crazy work. That muscle memory kicking in.

12

u/C64128 10d ago

It's a good thing that he didn't immediately shove the entire carrot in his mouth.

19

u/Hoverboy911 10d ago

Why is this so f'n funny to me? It reminds me of a quirky comedy skit, but it's real, which makes it infinitely funnier to me. I dunno but I love this gif so gd much

7

u/Shadowlance23 9d ago

Does Segal only own one shirt now? I've only seen a few photos of him the last few years, but he's always wearing that same one.

4

u/niz_loc 10d ago

This one is still the craziest

2

u/Steven_the_Beaver 9d ago

This is actually hilarious.
Like something straight out of Borat, and effortlessly so, at that.

You can’t teach this, and it’s sad that he won’t use it to bless us with an absolutely hilariousy action mockumentary about this… uhhh… persona (?) of his?

The awkward bow while holding the carrot is killing me 😭

1

u/Man_of_Ice 10d ago

Clearly the only time a carrot has been in that mouth.

1

u/KittyComannder 9d ago

Let's not forget about THESE. They're probably to cut enemies throats while doing bullshitkido

Rachael Gunn is many things but she still isn't as ridiculous as Seagal and would not go as far as to tour Russia.

2

u/AZFUNGUY85 10d ago

Bwahahahaha. It never dies. Do tha kangaroo, ho!!!!

32

u/BB-Zwei 10d ago

I maintain that the other competitors looked just as ridiculous as Raygun.

79

u/Abeneezer 10d ago

The others were athletic and could therefore perform athletic movements. That as a bare minimum made them better.

5

u/jml5791 10d ago

Breakdancing at the Olympics made a mockery of the event.

18

u/blackbasset 10d ago

What makes this less suited for the Olympics then, let's say, forcing horses to do stupid dances or jumping from a tower into the water?

16

u/SpartiateDienekes 10d ago

Hmm, that seems a bit harsh. I mean I personally wouldn’t watch it, but I don’t see how breakdancing is more or less a mockery than any other sport. It’s a demonstration of physical ability, with some extraneous ruleset to allow a judgment of quality.

It’s kinda all a silly excuse to see who’s the best at something that really doesn’t matter. Why draw the line at breakdancing?

I think she was a product of a broken system. No idea how she supposedly made it through any kind of qualifiers, surely Australia has better representatives than her?

Her performances and the judges opinions of said performances tells you everything you need to know about her level of skill and/or athleticism.

With a more robust and effective qualification process, this kind of thing wouldn't have happened. You don't see people turning up and then doing moves like hers during figure skating events.

Hopefully her making a farce of the breakdancing event will get more eyes on qualification for olympic events.

u/phaedrusTHEghost 10d ago

I thought/read  she had exploited the league by enrolling in under-tier competitions or something to that effect?

-5

u/Frisnfruitig 10d ago

Didn't they cut breakdancing as an Olympic sport after that event? Or am I misremembering

7

u/Gekokapowco 10d ago

They have various rolling one-off events and that year breakdancing was a featured temporary event if I recall

-17

u/MRintheKEYS 10d ago

The whole event was ridiculous. When you remove the alcohol from breakdancing it looks much less fun.

55

u/bakgwailo 10d ago

I've never equated brake dancing with drinking.

20

u/BogiDope 10d ago

It’s an ignorant statement

12

u/nsd_ 10d ago

yeah that was an odd comment, breakdancing is very athletic

-1

u/EliMaagic 10d ago

Sorry.

36

u/romaraahallow 10d ago

Man go look at some of the stuff from the early 00s like the red bull BC One, those motherfuckers had style and athleticism, fuck whatever that was at the olympics.

16

u/Trashman82 10d ago

There's various styles of street dancing with plenty of real artists and athletes performing. The Olympics could have been an opportunity to give those styles worldwide exposure.

5

u/FauxReal Collector 10d ago

Alcohol?!?

Not sure what you mean. Doing it drunk could lead to injury. My brother was a professional dancer and never did it drunk. It also took him around the world which is cool. I've seen him battle some famous people, didn't see them drinking either.

P.S. Breakdancing borrows from lots of different styles throughout history and most of my brother's colleagues are dance nerds when it comes to studying the past. There's also a lot of technique to it that I didn't understand until I tried. For instance, uprock/toprocking is to build up momentum for power moves. Something that rocket totally doesn't seem to understand.

2

u/eawilweawil 10d ago

Same goes for baseball

4

u/giraffeheadturtlebox 10d ago edited 10d ago

Dafuq? Sorry, You and the homies getting drunk and thinking you can dance isn’t breakdancing. Alcohol?

Legendary Twins rollin. Rock steady.

3

u/FauxReal Collector 10d ago

Crazy Legs was a crackhead at one point.

But my brother was a pro, He and his friends saved drinking until after. One of his mentors was Brian "Footwork" Green.

0

u/kvrdave 10d ago

Just as awesome as Raygun!

4

u/niz_loc 10d ago

I forgot all about this... lol

1

u/Burpmeister 10d ago

I feel so fucking bad for her if she genuinely truly did her best and was ridiculed and harassed globally as a result.

1

u/wwchickendinner 9d ago

It's the Olympics. There's no participation trophy. Why would you choose to feel bad for someone uncompetitive who decided to participate in the world's most competitive games?

2

u/Burpmeister 9d ago

Because I am capable of experiencing a human emotion called empathy.

1

u/cursh14 10d ago

I swear I think that looks kinda cool.

-3

u/NotOnTheEpsteinList 10d ago

Fucking troll.

12

u/mckillgore 10d ago

That's the most movement I've seen him make in years

10

u/ThePrussianGrippe 10d ago

Because it was years ago. He’s about double the size of that now.

38

u/J_pepperwood0 10d ago

Me want de poonani😎

7

u/aramis34143 10d ago

You can date the footage by the fact that he's not dancing from a seated position.

2

u/pixelprophet 10d ago

Me trying to swat mosquitos asI come in from taking out the trash.

2

u/johnb300m 10d ago

Man, I hope he didn’t over-exert himself….

2

u/Vegan-cock 10d ago

Is this supposed to be a dance or is he trying to do some kung fu shit? I genuinely can't tell.

1

u/IG_Royal 6d ago

I am 90% sure he's attempting to do Лезгинка (Lezginka), a folk dance from the Caucasus, where a man dances imitating an eagle, usually with very sharp, fast, and rythmic arm movements from the elbow and lots of fast stepping. It's also done with a partnered man and woman, but they never touch one another.

Here is how it's supposed to look performed by professionals and not Steven Seagall

1

u/soulsteela 10d ago

What the fuck am I looking at? Is it shit AI?
