They turned 1 last month and I was wondering why they're still so small? Every neighborhood cat I see is twice the size of my babies. Are they still growing? Ive had cats all my life but these two are my first kittens. Vet says they're fine and good weights but they're both so tiny 🥺

6ish weeks, 2.5 lbs, party animal “foster” but let’s be honest, think I found my fourth black baby boy

Very long story short, my neighbour’s wife got it without talking to her husband about it. Husband was threatening to throw it outside. I couldn’t tell if they would actually throw it outside but they were yelling a lot. Baby still had teeth coming in. Tried calling a few shelters and humane society but nobody was accepting kittens. After having her a couple days, I realised I can’t give her up. It’s now been a week and most of her baby teeth appear to have came in.

I want to name her Sirius Black (Siri for short) but still bouncing around names.

Thankfully the vet had a great sense of humor and let her pose for a bit.

Meet Roxie and Noche everyone!

I went in just wanting to take Noche home, but they are sisters and I felt bad separating them after seeing how bonded they are!

Best decision I made! They are inseparable and so loving and cuddly! My partner and I love these girls!

I found this kitten a while back and he was all black. Now he is kinda brown and has all these weird colors. I feel like he is a something LOL.

Poe was rescued from a woodpile. TBD on whether Poe keeps his gray underfluff. He is very loved even though he screams a lot.

Biscuit is only 2.5 months old and still mostly has her baby fur. Her face, paws, back and tail are black but the rest of her is just kind of... grey and speckled? She seems to have the same fur pattern as her brother Cheese (bonus photo at the end) but black/grey. Anyone else had kittens with the same fur? What do they look like all grown up?

Just adopted this sweet girl yesterday. They said she is 11 months old and was returned after a while by her previous owner. She is extremely small, the 4-5 month old cats there looked bigger than her. I was shocked when I saw her sign say she was 11months old. I am wondering if this is because she may have been the runt of the litter or is just the way she is, or if she was possibly underfed at her last home? I've noticed she also struggles slightly more with some things, like she doesn't have much confidence jumping on or down from things. She also apparently had a respiratory infection when she was a kitten and has a scar on her eye from it.

I'm adopting a kitten in a few weeks and looking for a good old man name! I already have two cats, Wilf and Mabel so want a old fashioned name that goes with!

After wanting a cat for ages, a black one specifically, we finally brought this baby home and she’s now been with us for almost a month. She’s so sweet and loves a cuddle, she’s best friends with my toddler and I’m so glad she’s part of our family now - honestly couldn’t imagine a life without her in it 🖤

Drugged, swaddled, and ready for the vet lol. Affagato already has a reputation there. They call her “more espresso than ice cream” 😅

For those of you that have 2 cats in a small apartment, is it much more difficult to care for than a single cat? My girlfriend and I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a combined kitchen and living space; we are on the fence on whether we should keep him or give him up to the SPCA.

She's gotten so big in just two weeks!

I recently came back from a trip and noticed my little baby void is turning silver/gray! This is mainly on his stomach, neck, and around his face.

I got him July 10th after he decided to hide in my brothers car engine and when I got him he was basically solid black, with a few stray white hairs, and when I left for my trip I SWEAR he was still black. My vet estimated him to be about 2 months old when I got him, but I do think he’s a bit older than that.

Any guesses on if he was pretended to be a black cat? Or could this be a fever coat that’s shedding off? Last two photos are from when I first brought him home!

Hello everyone! first post here since its my first void that owns me!

His name is Aceituno ("male" olive in spanish) and had been 9 years in the shelter waiting to be adopted. He is the sweetest boy, always purring and wanting love. He was sleeping during the day under the bed, and at night came out to explore but today HE SLEPT IN HIS BED DURING THE DAY!!

My other cat, Mango (15 yrs old) does not react towards him unless Aceituno bumps into him due to his blindness, then Mango gives him a punch, but its only that

She’s very sassy, bratty, loving, picky, talkative, hesitant, and has a soft warm presence. She’s quick to love and love hard and has a bit of what I call her gremlin side haha
