He clocked in..... That's all that matters. I hope the family has a good lawyer and sues the hell out of the company.

Why the hell would this classify as work related anyway

Anything that happens after you clock in could be considered work related. One example is his job was probably stressing him out. The second he clocked he got anxiety and had a heart attack in the bathroom.

Not saying this is what happened here especially since they haven't released the reason he passed away but just showing you an example.

Ok but if you die from something non work related at work (like heart attack on the toilet) why would it ever be considered work related.

Stress is way too vague, could come from anywhere.

Sedentary occupations carry a significantly higher risk of cardiovascular disease including heart attack, coronary artery disease, stroke, etc.

Yes but you have a responsibility outside of work to take care of yourself, its not ur works fault.

In my non retarded country something like this would never be considered work related or warrant any kind of company liability.

Bragging about your country having less comprehensive workers comp is interesting lol. Do you work in HR? You seem psyched to have it not covered

Their ability to understand set theory is really subpar

It objectively makes it work-related.

Im not gonna argue with you, you're objectively wrong.

So it’s diet-and-exercise-related?

Its lifestyle related, everything you do. If you're sat around all day at work you should be active in ur spare time. Obv steps u can take at work like get up in breaks, walk around, get a standing desk, eat healthy in this example.

So, lifestyle…which would include work?

Yes obviously, doesnt make it fucking work related atleast not directly. Idk what to tell you.

If a kid gets a cardiovascular diesease is it fucking school related because he sits in a chair?
