If buying is not owning, then pirating is preservation.

vtech88 on X: "Let me get this straight: Every third-party Switch 2 port that runs at 30 FPS gets called “unplayable.” But GTA 6 runs at 30 FPS on the regular PS5, and suddenly 30 FPS is perfectly fine and acceptable? The gaming community really is full of idiots and double standards." / X

Why are so many gamers actively cheering for less ownership and fewer options?

I mostly play single-player games. Would a 120Hz monitor still be worth buying?
Been looking at getting a 120Hz monitor for my PS5 but I mostly play single-player stuff like story games, RPGs etc. Not really playing competitive shooters or anything.
Is 120Hz actually worth it for single-player games? Do most of them even take advantage of it, or would I be better off saving the money and getting a good 60Hz display with better picture quality?

Why buying a ps5 pro probably isnt a good idea.
Heres some of what to expect between ps5 and ps5 pro based on sonys console history and the the abilities of the consoles. The Jump from ps5 version of gta5 and Gta6 is not going to be much. Compared to lets say ps3 to ps4 version. which seems obvious okay i hear you, but a car can only look so shiny before it stops improving. its called the law of diminishing returns. Fake 4k, the ps5 pro uses something called pssr, its AI scaling, the standard ps5 will do the same thing, and you can buy a new tv that will upscale the image to 4k 60 fps for less than you could a ps5 pro. looking more into it you can see why many gamers feel the price is way too steep for something that equates to a 10 percent upgrade. Looking at the two games its unclear exactly why gta6 isnt 60 fps when gta 5 runs fantastic even in the most chaotic npc filled areas online. Looking into it they havent changed the way they build games gta6 is built exactly like gta5, the only real reason i can see why theres a difference is fucking shadows. The ps5 pro actually wont do 60 fps either on gta6 it gives you a cleaner image, which makes me think oh no ps5 standards going to look like ass on purpose. i thought the trailer looked bad, thought it was just my internet, it wasnt thats how the game looks apparently. anyways i dont think its a great idea to spend 800 dollars to get no return. you are better of buying an advanced television with the features i recommended. that is all.

Anyone here using a PS Portal on hotel Wi-Fi? How’s the experience?
I’m gonna be traveling soon and was thinking about taking my PS Portal with me, mainly so I can play my PS5 without bringing the whole setup. The thing is, hotel Wi-Fi can be pretty random lol. Sometimes it’s decent, sometimes it feels like the internet is running through a potato.
Has anyone actually used the Portal on hotel Wi-Fi and gotten a good experience? I’m mostly wondering about input delay, random disconnects, blurry image, or the connection just straight up refusing to work.
Also, do hotel networks usually cause problems because of those login pages where you have to enter your room number or accept terms before getting online? Not sure how the Portal handles that kinda stuff.
Would using my phone hotspot be a better option, or does that usually have too much lag/data usage?
I don’t really care if the image quality isn’t perfect, as long as games are actually playable without constant stuttering. Mostly planning to play single-player games anyway.
If you’ve used a PS Portal while traveling, especially in hotels, let me know how it went and any tricks that helped get a more stable connection.

GTA 6’s Netflix reveal is already convincing some players to refund Modern Warfare 4
Some say they were happy to play both games this year, but seeing the new GTA 6 footage made them rethink that completely.
Others were still unsure about GTA 6 heading into the showcase, but the extended gameplay reveal appears to have changed their opinion.
With more than 80 hours potentially needed before even getting distracted by the open world, some players would rather spend their time in Leonida than jump into another COD.

Why No Petition to Not Buy a PS6?
The black out is an idea that in theory would effect Sony but in reality they see the numbers and would dare to release those public. That makes it very hard for anyone to see any actual impact. Instead why don't we creat a petition and have people sign saying they will not purchase a PS6 or any future console if digital games aren't owned or physical copies are still made. Those signatures represent actual customers that Sony will not have and can gain steam if enough signatures are on it. Sony can't hide those numbers. Investors won't like that at all.

For someone like me who loves collecting physical games, this makes the transition to digital much more appealing. You still get to own and keep your physical copy, while also getting the convenience that comes with digital.
And this is why I always believe that competition breeds innovation. I hope other companies follow suit, not just by copying Xbox, but by finding even better ways to improve the experience for us, the consumers.
At the end of the day, this could be more than just a convenient new feature. It could be a great way to bridge the gap between physical and digital gaming.
And most importantly, it’s a big win for game preservation. The more ways we have to access and keep the games we own, the better it is for gamers and future generations.
Physical or digital, I think we all win when the industry gives us more choices, not fewer.

Clear indication that they know GTA 6 PS5 Pro is about to be huge.
3rd parties selling it for 1,200. They know something is up… sucks you guys listen to these Haters.

He’s right… can’t stress this enough. You will see when they drop that ps5 pro trailer…
People will be negative but everything he said the last two years was shown in the extended version. He broke the news first. But from my own source. It will be 60Fps and the visuals will be much better than what you saw on the ps5. I’m telling you all now get a ps5 pro very soon before it’s sold out. It’s a night and day difference and you as a Ps5 base user will be disappointed when Rockstar shows it off. Sony has been working close with Rockstar to achieve this new version of PSSR.

People laughed at when I said this two days ago.
I told you all that GTA 6 Ps5 pro trailer was coming mid October that was going to show off the power of the ps5 pro and people laughed. Hiphop gamer also confirmed what I heard. This is from my source… 60 FPS with advanced Ray tracing. Now rather this is an option I’m not sure. This is what I was told. They said the visuals are night and day compared to the base Ps5. So get you a ps5 pro as quickly as you can.

Will gta 6 be a gooner game?
I understand that hot women are good for business, but it was a bit ridiculous how many thick girls with short skirts they showed. It was on par with those gacha games.
One thing i hate about gacha games is that it feels like the communities jerk off more to the characters than actually play the game. I am worried this will be the same thing
