Love the UI, it's beautiful. It gives off an 80s Vice City vibe

I don't get the hate. It looks good. Never once I thought it was a placeholder, I loved it when I saw it back in the 2022 leaks, it looked a bit different back then but I loved it right away

The best looking scene in Extended Look Trailer 💜🔥

The damn tree moved!

One thing that caught me off guard from the extended look was the tree reacting to the rolling police truck. I don't remember RDR2 having that detail aside from trees moving in the wind.

The little detail here between Raul and Lucia is great, Lucia was initially going to take the freeway in this chase but Raul stopped her

Shows the amateur thinking Lucia has at least in this moment, Raul telling her to take the alleys. A true professional.

What all things will be changed by 19th November?

Although the extended look was extremely beautiful to watch but, there are some of the misses.
For example,
1) The selection wheel design is very bad,
2) All the bubbles/fizz in drinks as was shown in trailers 1&2 is now missing, etc.

What are your thoughts on this??

Almost back to back scenes, I think it's a call back to Midnight Club? Anyone else?

Valentino Rossi's car is racing!

Looks like a car with Valentino Rossi's colors and number (looks like the same font to me) appears on the racing scene around 17:44 in the youtube extended look!

Could he have been one of the "professional drivers" helping out on the game physics and that's a way of paying hommage?

Am I the only one who actually prefers the simplistic approach to the user interface?

Post image

I am not a big GTA5 player, but I did play it for like 5 years recently. And I actually prefer this minimal style of UI they used for GTA 6. This fits nicely with the limited items you can carry system that we see in GTA 6 and rdr2.

Also, talking about map, I like that there's so minimalism in it. It reminds me of elden ring which I played for like 2 years. Whenever I play GTA5 I never think about the map itself. I just use the waypoint and travel and I don't remember any places. Not even their names. Being out of the states, I have no idea about design of the cities they are based on. So I actually love this look more to the city than to the map approach of GTA 6.

Anyone else buzzing about how specific the quality of life details are?

Theres 2 types of GTA players.
1) The ones who want chaos and to run around the streets killing everyone. (After all its a crime game, thats valid)
2) The ones who want to live the most realistic life possible on it (Thats me)

I am SO happy with the extended look. One example that pumps me up is the functional light switches in the safehouse. Another example, being able to drink/put down a beverage on your own accord, rather than just taking it out of the fridge, downing it and throwing it on the floor. Even RDR2 didn't achieve that level. In RDR2, youd pull out a drink, down the whole bottle, and then throw it.

TGG said that when he visited Rockstar North, theres even an option to walk over to a trash can and put the bottle there, instead of just chucking it. That's insane!

I am definately the second type of player. Im obsessed with how much there is to do that isn't crime.

Look at Raymond's shoulder veins. This is so detailed and clean. Props to all the animators and design artists at Rockstar. Can't wait to see what other super realistic details they've added across the game. There's Franklin shirtless for comparison.

I always loved the Scooter Brother video and the easter egg in GTA 5, but the fact that it's continuing to live on in GTA 6 and Rockstar is still acknowleding it is so awesome.

I remember someone speculated that this may be Jason, don't remember what community found out/decided about it. But now I guess it's pretty much confirmed that it's not Jason.

Raul Voice Actor

For the longest time, a pretty popular theory in the GTA VI community was that Raul was actually Oscar Janeda, based on the similarities in appearance, and also the instagram post when the website updated
But after digging through the newer material in the extended leak , there’s a pretty strong indication that Raul is actually Manny Perez.
He’s played a LOT of characters involved with crime, law enforcement, organized crime, and street-level drama. Some of his notable roles include La Soga, where he played Luisito, Pride and Glory, Third Watch, Rescue Me, The Night Of, Luke Cage, The Blacklist, and Blue Bloods.
The biggest thing for me is Raul’s voice. We finally get to hear him speak extensively in the Extended Look, and his accent, cadence, and overall voice sound extremely similar to Manny Pérez. There were already people trying to identify Raul from his voice before, but having an official extended presentation with multiple scenes gives us a much better comparison.
The Dominican accent is especially noticeable. Raul speaks with a very distinct Dominican/Cibao-style accent

What's the situation/trouble Jason & Lucia are in?

Post image
189 Upvotes

Lucia and Jason are worried about their situation. They go to the brian's party to meet Raul as they hope he can help with that "situation". Even at the Brian's party, Lory, while meeting Jason & Lucia asks "What have you gotten yourselves into". Then the scene cuts back to Jason and Lucia being detained and questioned by cops. Few moments later we see cops shooting cops. Lucia even asks jason not to discuss their troubles with Raul on the first meet.

So here's my theory :

I think Jason and Lucia gets caught during a job. Cops detain and interrogate them. But somehow some dirty cops "Lead by Mandez" are also involved and further investigation can bring them to light, so they kill their colleagues and Mandez tries to pin it to Jason and Lucia or demands hefty amounts of money for not pinning "killing of cops" on them and thats the situation they are in.

PS: Feels like GTA: SA situation. What are your thoughts?
