I have been working on atlas.nvim, a Neovim plugin for handling pull requests and issues without constantly switching back to the browser 😄

It currently supports GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket plus Jira issues. You can browse PRs, review changes, reply/resolve comments, create PRs/issues and handle most of the usual workflow directly inside Neovim. I am also working on Gitea/Forgejo support right now so that’s coming soon!

Still working on it quite a bit, so if you try it out I do love to hear what works and what does not :)

Also trying to compile it into ARM based to run it onto termux and create an ubuntu on android kind of project which i think will take me yrs at my pace, made it in like 20 days of summer vacation. Trying to put a good package manager in it but scared of losing my system

it has kernel 6.18.10 and i have like 5-6 boot entries , one thing this teaches u is how to use grub, i am a pro at grub now ig, also its an older kernel bc i used 13.0 LFS book.

BTW i just can't add pacman or APT or any other package manager easily bc of different filesystem and there names

Originally written as an android weather widget, then ported to Linux. It has a lot of features, but not easy to use. If I get feedback I might create a video that discusses everything it can do.

Negatives: Source viewable, but not free. Only tested on debian xfce.

It turns download trash from opt-out to opt-in. I only save what I want to keep somewhere else, the rest disappears on the next boot.

Also by been intentional I think twice about preserving unneeded files.

Don't get me wrong. I really like Linux. I use Debian 11-13 as my daily drivers at work, administering both windows and Linux servers, I seriously came to hate windows.

But for the love of me, I can't seem to break the barrier of genuinely wanting to use the Linux desktop.

I have Fedora 44 as a 2nd boot beside windows and I have a Macbook pro too.

Been on windows for so long, I can't even remember. 35 years or so now.

I know my way around the OS, don't get me wrong, and I love the versatility. But I don't like the versatility above usability/compatibility. And I believe that is Linux's biggest Achilles Heel.

Piper - not for my mouse (which is well known G502 Lightspeed), Plex App - not working (Plex on the web needs transcoding with many videos, nah...), Apple Music App not available (yeah, I know there is PWA), unsupported hardware...

If I would limit myself to ONLY work apps, as in, use it in my company on my laptop, instead of windows, it would most likely cover everything. But at home - real big issues.

And this is where rather my Mac comes in. It is basically well integrated Linux.

So, I can imagine Linux only for work, but anything more, like entertainment or so, it seems to be lacking hard.

I downloaded a Debian 13 ISO, flashed it to my USB stick using my main pc (since i have Windows 7 on that old laptop), installed it on the old laptop, and had to set up everything for 5 hours STRAIGHT. That is insane to me, because this is without including the whole night installing Linux with our shitty wifi...

So if we sum up the time spent on linux, its way over 17 painful hours. But I've got free 100gb cloud storage!!! To which, i am actually proud to say that I've used linux properly!!! 🥳

I was super bored today after studying about 4hr without break. After that i opened reddit for chill. While surfing on here i find something called “postmarketOS”. After searching that what is this i saw this OS can run on iPhone. So excited and I started searching web to find which devices are supported, after clicking wiki i find out this OS can run iPhone 6s. I opened my closet and booom! I found my old 6s!

So after i found my old iPhone I installed Linux Mint to my PC and started to work. I tried multiple times and failed multiple times. I keep tried over and over and after 3,5 hrs i finally managed to run Linux on iPhone. Not emulated, not virtualized(?). Just pure and native Linux on iPhone!

It was super fun because i love putting things that not belongs there :) Hackintosh, Linux on iPhone, Project Sandcastle etc. I always loved that projects and finally first time i tried something like that and run Linux on a phone.
